  1. What is CarbonLib ?

  3. icWord 3.0 is a carbonized application. This means that icWord 3.0 runs on systems starting at Mac OS 8.6 and up to Mac OS X version 10.2.
  4. In order to run on system 8.6, 9.0, 9.1 and 9.2 icWord requires the presence of CarbonLib version 1.5 or better in your system. CarbonLib is an Apple library used to provide Mac OS X compatibility.

  7. Where do you find CarbonLib ?

  9. If CarbonLib version 1.5 or better is not present in your system icWord 2.2 will gives an alert requesting it. You may download the latest version of CarbonLib (currently version 1.6) from the Apple web site (www.apple.com) at:

  11. Once you have downloaded install CarbonLib with the Apple Installer that you have just downloaded and icWord 3.0 will work.
